When you complete a check-in, we collect:

• your first and last name
• your ID card or passport number
• your email address
• your mobile phone number
• a record of your consent (the consent text and the time it was given)
• a temporary email verification code, stored only as an irreversible hashed value, never in plain text

We process your personal data in order to:

• manage your check-in and your stay performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• comply with our legal obligations, including the registration of accommodation guests required by law (Art. 6(1)(c)).
• process your check-in details on the basis of the consent you provide, which you may withdraw at any time (Art. 6(1)(a)).
• verify your email and protect the service against misuse, based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).

We keep check-in records for as long as necessary to manage your stay and to comply with our legal obligations (including tax and guest-registration requirements). Verification codes are stored only as a hashed value and are invalidated immediately once they are used or expire.

We use carefully selected service providers (data processors) to operate the service: a cloud database provider that hosts our records, and an email delivery provider that sends your verification code. These providers act only on our instructions. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses are in place. We may also disclose data to competent public authorities where required by law.

We never store your verification code in plain text only an irreversible cryptographic hash. Access to stored check-in data is restricted to authorised personnel and data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.

This website does not use any cookies for visitors. The owner/admin area uses a single, strictly necessary session cookie, used only by the site owner to stay signed in.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• access your personal data and obtain a copy of it
• request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• request erasure of your data, where applicable
• request restriction of, or object to, processing
• data portability
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.
